The Canadian Music Centre’s new Murray Adaskin Salon is a cultural jewel in the heart of downtown Vancouver with a street-level entrance on Davie Street between Howe and Hornby.
This beautiful new performance space provides a uniquely intimate, affordable, completely-accessible, 40-seat black-box theatre and live-streaming broadcast studio, featuring Murray Adaskin’s completely refurbished Heintzman Salon Grand piano, 120” high-definition screen as well as state-of-the art audio and visual recording, broadcast and live-streaming facilities.
An elegant lobby features a refreshment bar and a fully equipped box office in partnership with Tickets Tonight. Upstairs, the 14-seat CREATE Boardroom is fully A/V and distance-meeting equipped, and comes with access to an adjacent kitchen.
